I stumbled upon Rone’s public art installation while searching for dinner in Melbourne in 2023. Pictured right is THE NEWSAGENCY, which occupied an empty storefront on the ground floor of the Flinders Street Station to serve as a taster for the remaining 11 rooms of the exhibition upstairs. It was the final week of the installation, and I tried endlessly to secure two tickets while we were there but there were none available, even overpriced resale tickets. We left without seeing more than the ground floor teaser, and I still wish that I had been able to see it in its entirety.
